This is the Chapter of the House of the Undying Ones. Summary from The Tower of the Hand http://towerofthehand.com/books/102/049/index.html
I've been looking around after reading again and I can't find a ton of discussions -- post ADWD and the episode in season 2.
This is a link to the Tower of the Hand where they speculate (through footnotes) what the Three Fires are, what the three Deaths are and what the three treasons are. I've seen some posts about the treasons, but it was a while ago before ADWD.
If this has been revisited and I missed, please point me in the right direction.
The chapter raises interesting questions...
Three Fires.. "one for life and one for death and one to love." Wonder what the Fire "to" love is... What was the Death - the one at arena? Doran?
Three Mounts. "one to bed and one to dread and one to love." Dead may be Drogon? to love - stumped again on that one maybe Drogon also..
Additionally there are many quick visions that she has...
Quoting Tower of the Hand here
" cloth dragon swaying on poles amidst a cheering crowd; a great stone beast taking wing from a smoking tower; her silver riding towards a stream beneath a sea of stars; a corpse with bright eyes and gray lips smiling sadly on the prow of a ship; a blue flower growing in a chink of ice;8 Mirri Maz Duur performing her shadow magic; a young Daenerys outside the house with the red door; Mirri Maz Duur dying as Daenerys's dragons hatch; a bloody corpse, naked, bound and dragged behind her silver; a white lion, taller than a man, running through grass;9 a line of naked crones coming out of a great lake and kneeling before her;10 and ten thousand slaves reaching out to touch her and crying "mother" as she rides past.11"
They speculate the White Lion is Tyrion but I'm thinking it's Ghost
Thought the Stone dragon is very interesting, I know this forum has discussed that but was there something in ADWD that hinted at this? Tyrion on the water seeing one? but that wasn't stone - So it's probably the one speculated under Winterfell? "Smoking Tower"
The Corpse on the ship.. Cat?
Ok so I'm all over the place - need to read ADWD again..
Interesting reading though..
