To Sleep in a Sea of Stars (Fractalverse) by Christopher Paolini,

Has anybody read To Sleep in a Sea of Stars ? I'm about 80 pages in and, while the story is interesting, I find the writing kind of clunky -- especially the "romantic" bits. I am wondering if it is worth the candle or should I move on to the next book on the stack?

    Fractal Noise – Paolini (2023)

https://theblackdeepblog.wordpress.com/2023/04/24/fractal-noise-paolini-2023/ Before reading this book it is important to know that it is very much a “it’s the journey, not the destination” type of story. The crew of a mining ship discover a giant, perfectly round hole on a planet emitting a...

So, I was wondering how many of you have read/heard of The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. There are currently three books out in the series (Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr) with a fourth (Inheritance) coming out in November. They're most famous for Paolini, the author, being fifteen...

Paolini's 'Brisingr' -- Warning, Major Spoiler Ahead!

Could anyone explain why Oromis had to die in the end of Brising? I've been shocked by that for the last day or so, even though I usually retain a sense of impartiality towards anything what happens. Yet, Oromis' death was able to pierce through the personal 'walls'... and I'd like to...

    Christopher Paolini's Eldest (Discussion)

This thread is in response to a (not so subtle) hint by my friend Alia that we discuss the story here. There will probably be spoilers and whatnot floating about this thread so if you haven't read the book yet and plan on doing so, please remember that. So, in answer to Alia's question...

    Eldest: Christopher Paolini

An admirable continuation of Paolini's debut novel, Eragon. There is a great deal of subtlety in this novel, like many epic fantasies, the author forwards the cause of morality, cause and effect, and compassion. This is the story of the aftermath of the battle in the Dwarf and Varden...

    Eragon, Eldest--Christopher Paolini

Any thoughts on Eragon or Eldest if anyone has read them. I appreciated Eragon and am in the process of reading Eldest.

    Eragon by Christopher Paolini

During the past several months I have been anticipating reading this novel. There are several reasons for this. To begin with, I'm a dragon lover. I'll read just about anything that concerns dragons. I'm fascinated by this mythical beast that appears in numerous mythologies, ancient and new...
