    JV Jones

I read J.V. Jones's A Cavern of Black Ice and A Fortress of Grey Ice years ago. Loved them. I wait ages and ages for the third book to come out and when it did, I got it. Thankfully, she'd put a catch-up thingy at the beginning of the book. I really did not want to go back and read the first...

New JV Jones novel (A sword from Red Ice)

I'm not sure if this has already been done, if so my apologies. I just picked this book up from the bookshop (Forbidden Planet London, thank you very much). I'm in a state because I'm still at work so I can't start reading it yet.

Cavern of Black Ice is the only book I have by this author, and I want to know whether it's a good starting place. Apparently there was a trilogy prior to this set in the same world - is it necessary to read that one before beginning this one?

JV Jones - Where is she?

Just generally browsing the site and can find nothing about JV Jones except a couple of recommendations - why? I thought her Book of Words trilogy was great. Anyone read The Sword of Shadows lot? Come on, this is a british site, we need to be 'biggin' our authors up too! xx

A Sword from Red Ice - JV Jones

Having read the first two books in this trilogy, I was curious to find out whether anybody had red A Sword from Red Ice, which is of course the final chapter in the trilogy. I enjoyed the first two books, although they were very depressing and heavy at times, but have not been unable to obtain...

    JV Jones

Anybody on the boards a fan of this ladies work? I could not get away with a Barbed Coil. The heroine driving a yellow Honda Civic at the begining of the novel does not do it for me. Yellow Honda Civics and fantasy do not go hand in hand. The only time I've really bought into the parallel...
