Crystal Singer and Anne's acting and singing career...

I read some where, (can't remember where) that the series Crystal Singer was a brain wave of Annes due to something happening in her singing career. Has anyone elas heard this too?

Yes, you'll find that mentioned in some of the biographic sources about Anne, such as the biographical scrapbook that her son Todd wrote. I think it was while she was in Germany, that her vocal coach there had her work in a register that wasn't suited to her and emphasized/expanded a flaw in her voice. The bits I've read about it make it clear that she's quite bitter about it.

In a way Anne did as Killashandra did in the CS series, became a successful author instead of a mediocre singer.
