Capitalisation in hyphenated titles

Requesting advice on a small point!

I'm writing up some (scientific) work, and I'm not sure on whether the second word of a hyphenated pair of words should be capitalised in the titles. Here's an example:

"2.2.1 Time-dependent Scattering Amplitude"

Now... should this be as above, or should it be:

"2.2.1 Time-Dependent Scattering Amplitude"

with the "dependent" capitalised?

Thanks for the link.. unfortunately I couldn't find an example of this, but then I am too lazy to search the whole thing :p Useful for future reference though, thanks.
 
It may be a style issue that changes from publishing house to publishing house or publication to publication.

You might ask Brown Rat, though. She's done copy-editing for an academic press, and would probably know the answer.
