That's another animated film I really enjoy. I love the look of the CGI backgrounds with the tradional animation. Stories pretty decent too.

It was a well made film in my opinion - but seriously lacking in the plot department. Characters were fairly standard and unsurprising for this kind of fare.

In a nutshell....leave your brain at the door and just enjoy the pretty pictures

Very true. It's also very similar to another earlier animated movie called Starchaser:The Legend of Orin.

This movie is fairly standard fare but there are little touchs which are good and personally I'd love to name a planet "Bob".

Really good movie in my opinion. I rented it once and couldn't get the sountrack out of my head, so I bought the soundtrack. A few years later I found the movie in the K-Mart bargin bin for $7. I couldn't believe it was there in the bin with movies like Showgirls. It's not the most origional movie, but I believe that it is underrated.

I always found it a bit of a contadiction. In some parts its rather adult in with some great jokes - but for the most part i found it simple and childish, but still enjoyable.

I didn't think anything of this movie when it came out but then my sister got it and she started watching it. I had nothing better to do and watched it as well and it was better than I thought it would be.

It's your basic boy comes from nowhere, meets a girl and finds out the fate of mankind is in his hands movie. But it is well worth watching as the animation and some of the carachters are quite good.
