Mr Jordan may very well be going for a world record,with regards to the length of "The Wheel",but when,oh when is it going too end.Three of my friends have passed on,not knowing the end of the story.I know it troubled one of them greatly,but as she said it's probably just as well,"I can't stand that B.....y woman pulling her hair anymore!!!!!"

Book 12 is the final volume in the series. It will be called A Memory of Light. Robert Jordan is writing it now, but he recently had a very serious health problem (a blood and heart condition called ambyloidosis) which resulted in him being in hospital for over a month and he still isn't back on a full writing schedule.
A Memory of Light will likely be the longest book in the series by far (according to Jordan) so don't be surprised if it gets split in half before publication. No date has been confirmed, but it is widely speculated that it will come out at the end of 2008 or the start of 2009.
