Hi Everyone,

I have a question that will hopefully be answered by you:
After enjoying the first two books of the series, I was eager to order the next installment of the series. A friend of mine (who hooked me up in the first place) told me, that there were editions of "A Storm of Swords", that splitted the story into two seperate books, so I looked for part 1 and 2 on Amazon and found them. Now that they arrived, I am a little confused, because Part 2 (as it is called explicitly on the cover, subtitle "Blood and Gold") is from Voyager Books, while the other book makes no indication to being only part of the whole story and is from Bantam Books.
Do I already have the whole story from Bantam and can send the other book back to Amazon? Or do I have more than 1700 pages of total Ice an Fire goodnes with no repetition?

Thanks for your help,
Andreas

Personally I always go for the whole book in one book and not any sort of split up version. I have no idea what to say about your two books but my copy of Storm of Swords is 973 pages in the large soft cover version (same physical size as the hardcover)

Hope this is some help to you..

Rahl

Sounds a little odd.

I'm new, so I can't post links, but check out his site at georgerrmartin.com, I'm pretty sure he has a review of all books published by all publishers which should tell you what you got.

why dont you just read the end of both the books and see if they are the same, and if the are then you can send back the second one and if they aren't then you can keep both books.
