Where to start?

Right, I want to read something of Tad William's, as i've seen a lot of good reviews on him around. But can anyone help me out in where I should start? I was thinking of starting with Memory, Sorrow and Thorn but as i'm unsure when i'll get around to reading anymore of his work I thought i'd ask for recommendations first ;)

So any ideas?

I would recommend Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn -- basically because of all his things I've read I enjoyed that one the most.

My son* is reading it right now. He hardly reads any fiction (changeling that he is), but he quite liked The Dragonbone Chair and is now a few chapters into Stone of Farewell.

(*Lest you picture some hardy youngster trudging his way through Tad's lengthy epic, I should point out that my son is 25 years old.)

I'd say start with the stand-alone Tailchaesr's Song to get a feel for Tad's writing style.

Then progress to Memory, Sorrow and Thorn. IMO his best work to date.

Then if you like his multiple POV/EPIC narrative try his virtual reality meets Alice in Wonderland quartet of books in the Otherland series.

Then check out his latest Shadowmarch trilogy, the most similar to his classic Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series.

OK over the last month i've been reading the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series, and have just finished it today. I must admit I was unsure at the start as I wasn't all that impressed with the first half of the first book, but after that it really picked up. Overall a very good read. I do have one question though....

*spoiler*

What was the point behind Aditu's prophecy for Josua's children? The trilogy ended with the twins only just born.

Great I don't even have to make a new thread. All info I wanted right here.
