It is both, actually. It's basically a spinoff, advertised in Thud! and Wintersmith, and with various in-jokes on the cover, including the "OOK!" certificate of the Unseen University Library. The book itself is nice; very good paintings, but then again also very short. Not really proportional to the rather stiff price.Really? I though it was just a "squeeze the cash out of the readers" or a kids book. Now I'll have to buy it
The Stones even did a song about it Hey Yoo Get off o'Ma CooIt's not a kid's book, it's a book for pratchett fans who have read Thud. I thought it was hilarious, probably "squeeze the cash out of readers", but brilliant marketing and it was worth it's money, i thought. I loved so so much when Rob Anybody was reading "Where's me coo" at the end of Wintersmith...
