Sounds like a generalized sci-fi/fantasy/gaming convention near St. Louis.

Fantasy Flight Games will be showcasing their GOT CCG. \

I have just began thinking about attending. If I can con... err..convince someone to go with me Ill be there. (it may end up being just Mr. & Mrs. Greyjoy )

Not so bad. Think of it as a second honeymoon. Very romantic and then you get to hook up with GRRM to boot.

Well, Mrs. Greyjoy told me this morning that she wants to take a 4 day weekend right around that time and has already agreed to go to one of the Ice Dragon signings as a part of it. Im going to broach the subject of Archon tonight. I think Ill tell her they plan on a lot of "Buffy" events

I'm so jealous. That's the trouble when the author does a lot of signings & tours in his home country.
I understand why but I'm still jealous!

Strange - I don't feel like a veteran. I think it will take me a few more cons before I get there, but I'll keep trying.

I'm getting the feeling that I may need to win the lottery in order to get the wife to say yes to Archon. I'll have to work her from another angle. I'm not giving up yet!

I havent broached the subject yet. I plan to this weekend.

What I would really look forward to is having an array of the CCG items available for me to pick up, look at and purchase all at once. None of the stores up here carry them. Plus there's GRRM!
