Another boring episode. YES we did get to see Sam use her ribbon device. Let us know the expansion of Sam's abilities. I give it a 8 out of 10.

More character driven than action driven. We got insight into Jacob and Sam's family and Teal'c got to see more of the good old 'human frailty'.
Cheers,

We hear of Sam's brother in Cold Lazerus I think, In the locker room Sam mentions that he lives in San Fransico (I think)

I think it's one of the worst episodes of season 3.
But I love the "Jaffa jokes" scene. That look in Jack's eyes...it's unforgettable.

Seth wasn't actually one of my favorites either. I agree it did have a few cute one liners in it, but those can't hold an episode together much.

Cheers,

Yeah, that's true.
I've just found one quote I really love:
Hamner (about Jack): "You have a rather insubordinate subordinate, General."

You got something in for the 2nd ep of each series Vera?
Like all SG eps i loved this one! It's good how they stayed on earth for an ep!
I liked the bit at the end how Sam 'thuds' Seth into the ground with the RD
A good ep to watch with my dad :)

He,he, I didn't notice that it's also 2nd episode.
Ok, I like The Enemy Within (counting COTG I and II as one ep.). ;)

Sam's brother lives in San Diego. The episode didn't jell for me either. Sad. Because it had elements in it that could really have made it fun. The conflict between Selmak and Jacob, Sam and the ribbon device, Jack's one liners. But Teal'c laughed and I love the episode for that!

ATF

it's a government agency-- the bureau of Alchohol,Tobacco and Firearms. they monitor the illegal use and/or trade of the previously mentioned items.

Although most of you didn't like this episode I did. Pretty good. 7 out of 10.
The Jaffa joke was great

Always seemd like a 'filler' episode - - just filled a slot in the schedule. Maybe if they'd really established Seth as a bigger threat or something....it did have some great lines, and we did get to see a lot of Jacob, at least. Great scene in the tent when the Pres called. Nothing is so satisfying as pulling rank on someone!
