Sorry, completely chopped up your post there. Is the repeat on @ 10 @ night? Which one do you think is likely to be the least edited?

The 10:00 showing is/was on S4C which is the Sottish or Welsh or something version of C4. There isn't much cut from SG-1 AFAIK, except maybe the v first ep of S1 which is an 18 cert on the DVD release....

Up to date news of SG-1 on C4 is that it is shown on Sundays, at 17:00.

Seriously? What, the Serpents Lair one?

I think its the very first ep of series one (COTG) which is an 18 cause of some nudity in it. I think :D

*In a stress* Oh, so the DVD gets all the scenes, but those of us who don't have DVD drives, and collect videos, are forced to read up on cut scenes on forums....
*walks off muttering* (Not that I want the nudity part, but the scene between Jack and Daniel would be nice. It's so schweeeet! ) Anyway, back to being in a stress... ;)

ooooooo kelsi is not a happy bunny

yeah i agree
and so are channel 3 when it comes to editing films.

well there all as bad as each other

ch4 stargate repeats

Do you all know that ch4 are showing repeats every weekday morning at 11:00 a.m.?? worth setting the video for anyway.

is that cause it was half term last week.... In the Uk that is

Certainly the Ch4 cuttings also removed any showing of the actual symbiont... wasting thousands of dollars worth of CGI, removing some important background details about Jaffa, and making the lead-in and subsequent explanations about the cause of The Enemy Within frankly mind-boggling.

Oh yeah, and all that full-frontal nudity thing as well...

(for anyone who still reads this ancient page)
Hehe, now I can record off Sky, so more more crap Ch4 editing! ;)

do sky one not cut little bits out here and there?
I don't know if they have ever did it with stargate, but they used to cut some of the grusome scenes out of the x-files.

Well, yeah, but MUCH less than ch4.

They don't bother too much about violence (in SG at least, although I'm still confused bout that piccy on the vid case for Shades of Grey where they meet and fight the natives or something, which always seems to be edited), although language is edited, the few times they swear (ie Jack - "S O A B" in Maternal Instinct). Still it's not that much edited: the UK vids are probly edited as much... :p

Yeah the pic on the box puzzled me too. watched the tape twice to see if i missed them but it must have been edited.

I read up on what happened tho: to cut a long story short: the rogue SG team killed the natives.

Hey, nic, are you from the UK, or US, or somewhere in between?
