Anyone remember this show? It was on TNT a couple of years ago. It was science fiction - very similiar to Babylon 5/ Star Trek.

It was a B5 spinoff, in fact, and was supposed to contain strong Arthurian undertones. I only saw a few episodes myself, so I can't really say if it was any good.

I have heard that a new B5 series in development, featuring many of the characters from the original series. The inspiration for doing so is the success of the B5 DVD sales, which have been through the roof.

Heh, I don't know whether to be joyful or cynical! I rate Babylon 5 particularly - I wax lyrical about the Season 3 DVD set on another thread - but, frankly, J Michael Straczynski has put in a lot of poor work in since.

He can't write for the Babylon 5 universe as we know it anymore - that was all ended at the climax of Season 4. I just don't see room for a major plotline - without it jarring against B5, thus pee'ing off fans.

Before Straczynski writes another series he should stop to think long and hard as to whether he's going to write an empty work for commercial reasons only, or whether he feels he can commit to a real story within a commerical frame. Otherwise he will merely lose what respect is left from the Bab 5 following, IMO.

(But then again, I'm a cynical critical Brit) :)

Oh - and welcome to the chronicles-network, Cartazon. :)

Was it poorly written though? I was wayy to young to remember.

The characters in Crusade did have great potential. Unfortunately they all seemed to have secrets to keep as well, which can get annoying.

I wanted to leard more of Galen and the Technomages. Are they human and/or alien? It was never answered.

If there is another series I hope they can redeem Lennier.

Definite YES.

The technomages where introduced briefly in the second season with Captain Sheridan.

They supposedly use super advanced technology to enact magic.

the technomages were quite mysterious and seemed to possess an ability to forsee the future , elrick telling londo a cryptic line about his dark destiny.

crusade had potential but the first and only season was even more heavy going than the first season of B5 and the theme music was not so good either.followed on directly from the movie ,a call to arms.
