Well, we're almost a neighbours. Unfortunately, there are only a few people from Central Europe. There're two friendly fans from Austria - Summershake and Geronimo here (hello, guys ).

I live in Miskolc in Hungary, on the north-eastern part of the country, but study (only for the next 3 weeks already) in Esztergom, on the Hungarian-Slovakian border. I don't know too much SG1 fans from Central-Europe either, but here in Hungary we have a really new SG1 club... if you'd like to know more about it, just email me and I'll tell more about us and our site. I'd like to know the others you talked about, too I'll try to look around in the other topics, but I'm quite busy about my finals at the college...

Also go to the thread "How many Europeans are here" - you'll find many people from Europe here.

I'm sorry to hear that you are busy with your studies. But good news is that summer holidays will start soon. BTW, what do you study, if I may ask?

It's great that you have a SG-1 fans club in Hungary. Which season of Stargate can you watch on TV now?

Here, in CR, season 3 finished last year and there's no word about season 4. Maybe we'll see S4 sometime at the end of this year, but who knows...

As far as I know there isn't SG-1 fan club in CR yet. But many people usually post their suggestions, opinions etc at our biggest czech stargate site (you can take a look at our site if you press the button "www" just under the line at the bottom of my post). We have there discussion forum but everybody usually post to our guest book which was turned into a small discussion forum too.

Yes, summer holiday, and this will be my last one, as on 23 June I'll graduate, and in September I should go to work... if I find a job...
I learnt cultural management and journalism, which I really like.
The club is really new, it was born on 25 March. To tell the truth till then we didn't have a club either... then we just thought, we want one, and made it.... I'm the leader or something...
Stargate on TV in Hungary... It's a shame as we can't see ANYthing in Hungarian.... A TV channel bought the series first, but after they finished the second season, the whole channel died... then now... another channel started again the show, finished at the end of the first season as another channel has the right of the other seasons... we just don't know now when we'll be able to see the show again... now there is RTL2 for those who can speak German (so not for me...), and SKYOne for those who have satellite (so not for me...), friends in Scotland who record _some_ eps (this is for me... sooo many thanks to Rita, who is not an SG1 fan anyway...), and the .asf files from the net... It's not too much...
I'll check out your site, you can see ours at www.csillagkapu.com There are many good things, but they are in Hungarian. We just plan to make an English version but it needs a lot of time again... maybe at the end of the summer....

Speaking about TV. I'm sorry to hear about such a terrible situation with Stargate in Hungary and hope that you'll finally have a chance to watch it on the Hungarian TV.

Well, thanks for the asf files on the net... better poor quality than nothing. It's the only chance to watch new seasons.

In Czech TV they usually don't answer the fans questions about Stargate. They only said that Stargate will return at the second half of this year (re-runs), but nobody knows when/if we will see also season 4. And airing times in the Czech TV are weird. Stargate was aired every day except weekend (that was great) but in the afternoon from 3 PM. I'm afraid that it will be the same situation with re-runs here.

I checked out your website. It looks great. Many infos, pics... really very beautiful. Unfortunately I can't speak Hungarian.

The Czech site mentioned before is not mine. I'm only co-writer, 'cause I'm a technical antitalent and don't understand all the html codes, graphics etc.
