I prefer Michael Shanks/Daniel Jackson with long hair. I think he is still adorable either way, but I love the long hair. I hope it grows back quickly.

Well, anyone who's ever come to the SG chat on AOL, knows I am a major Daniel fan. For all that, I was torn about the haircut thing.

I think my favorite look was from the very first few eps which is longish but not near as long as it was in season 2. At first, I was none too fond of the short hair but it's grown on me (pardon the pun)in season 4. I think it's because of the longer sideburns.

Hair aside, I really like the Daniel of season 4. It's like he's come through the dark times and has survived. Now, he's more confident in his abilities and in his place on the team. Gone is the geek but the boyish charm and enthusiasm has remained. God bless continuity and a show that let's its characters grow into themselves!

you all wanna know why he did it right?
ok well i'll tell you! last year he was in the sratford theater festival and he had to cut his hair to play macbeth or hamlet i forget ........ and way thats y he cut it but if you all haven't noticed he got his hair cut again for season 4!

That's a tough one. I've already said that I love Daniel with long hair. As for the glasses, I prefer him with the glasses on. I like glasses - I think they add character. But I adore his beautiful blue eyes, so I certainly don't object to the moments when he takes off the glasses to expose them.

(GASP) - bite your tongue. Michael Shanks is just so delicious. I think the things that we female fans, and maybe some males, see in him are: his beautiful,expressive baby blue eyes; his adorable smile; his silky hair (especially when it's long, in my opinion); his talent and passion for acting and ability to portray and convey a great range of emotion; his perfect body; his sensitivity; his voice; well, I think you get the point. Help me out people if I left anything out.

Well, maybe Jack has more chest hair - I'll give you that. I think Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks are both pretty damn sexy, in different ways, but I'm not a big fan of chest hair anyway.

Martouf you will get used to it. When i first watched stargate there was this chat room called #mschat which was at http://www.gatewatcher.com/msoof - so yeah fan site for michael shanks. Every half hour or so it would suddenly turn into "lets list our favourite 20 things about michael shanks" etc... hehe...
