personally - i don't like this episode - and, i'm not exactly sure what's going on in it - b/c i've only watched it like 2x's - and i still don't like it - not sure i understand the point of it either - except to kill Shau're -- so --- um ---- okay -------

My thinking on Forever in a Day is that this was all in his mind. Sha're not only transfered to him through the hand device the info about the child, but also the experiences of several days. Why she did this (other than so you could say in the end, "Oh, that was all just from the hand device, only Daniel experienced it") is beyond me, as is why Teal'c couldn't simply have wounded Sha're or zatted her. Liked the emotion of this one, but it's not one of their best and I don't like that Sha're is dead. Set up for Sarah Gardner in season 4 I guess.

I came at it from the angle the Shau're had lost the battle to her gou'auld. She may have tricked Ammonet to go where SG-1 would find her. Shau're's last ditch effort was to somehow make Daniel understand her love was still as great as his through the hand device as Ammonet was killing him. (I really need to see the ep again, to know why Daniel was so dumb as to go after her without the others, so bear with me.) She really wanted to light a fire under Daniel to go search for the child. At the same time, I think Shau're sort of knew that somehow a member of SG-1 would have to choose between her life and Daniel's. Teal'c, in his whip-snap, alien thought processes made a decision a regular human Tauri would have agonized over until Daniel had died.

I like flashback episodes like this so I sort of just got to the end and thought, "Hey, cool. Oh crap! she's really dead. Daniel's going to be a wreck." And I think he would probably not be too happy with Teal'c once he'd reflected on it all.

Gonna give us a clue on this?

How about another question in the meantime.

What unit is (was) Major Warren assigned to?

on the wall in hammond's office there is a box, quite large, thats shows a number of little badges and i'm guessing that they are unit badges. i may be wrong though. i want to know how many there are. :)
