My name is Chris, i live in a lil' town called Whyalla in South Australia. 14 years old.

I have 18 eps of series one on Tape (awaiting the last few) none of series 2 (yet) and 15 of series 3, and about 10 of series 4 as .asf file. I also have the soundtrack. (nearly got the second one)

I enjoy long walks on the beach and candlelit dinners

I play tennis and go to school, and of course am unemployed, I like bands like Foo Fighters, Fuel and Goo Goo Dolls.

And for the record i am the Aussie Moderator

Although I've seen the end of season 3 on computer I'm still looking forward to watching Stargate a lot bigger and heaps better quality. I just hope they show the entire season 4.

Most call me AusGate, but my name is Allan, and i'm from Canberra. I'm one of the 4 organisers of the Gatecon conventions.... just got back from Canada from Gatecon 2000, and we had an absolute blast (still suffering jetlag though).

Hi. I'm another Aussie. From Tamworth. This is my first post here. I'm also a refugee from gaters.net which is suffering serious serious problems and I'm suffering from withdrawal.

I also just missed out on Gatecon this year. I was in vancouver just before and just after Gatecon. I would have loved to have been there (as it was my husband was highly suspicious of the timing of our visits to Vancouver).

personal bits - I'm female, married, two children (7 and 10 years), been addicted to sci-fi all my life and obsessive when it comes to stargate. I'm thrilled that I've found another forum....

I'm trying to rally a huge contingent of Aussies together for Gatecon 2001. We already have about 7 or 8 Aussies coming over... but we want more !!!!!

We just have to convince Martouf to start saving now for the trip. LOL

I don't think that next year is a goer. I spent 5 weeks over in Canada and the US during the Olympics (patriotic? me?). The exchange rate for the US was unspeakable so I'll be paying the trip off for a while. 2002 is a possibility (I'm planning to be back in Canada then anyway around about September/October) but, hey, I have trouble getting to the BOBW cons in Sydney (and I'm down there every month). Besides, I don't know if I can stand the derision and the looks I get from my husband whenever I mention Vancouver and Stargate in the same sentence. I love Vancouver - I could very easily live there (only my job is not really transferrable). Luckily, the rest of the family loves the place too, so it won't be hard to drag them all back. If only we could gate across the Pacific. That plane trip is appalling.
