Probably the biggest news so far in Australia related to Stargate is that it is returning to channel seven on October twelfth at 8:30pm all around Australia. For those who haven’t seen the end of season 3 (Starting at Foothold), will see it. Those last saw Nemesis will see Small Victories (Perth, Sydney and Brisbane) SG-1 will continue on Thursday nights at 8:30pm from now on.
Series 2 videos are also out in Australia so far out are the volumes 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 (Episodes- The Serpent’s Lair, In The Line Of Duty, Prisoners, The Gamekeeper, Need, Thor’s Chariot, Message In A Bottle, Family, Secrets and Bane) The following dates are the release dates for the following volumes-
If you would like to buy these videos you can! They are out in stores across the country, if you can’t find ant visit http://www.vidzofoz.com.au/ they will order to your doorstep within days. My advice to you? Buy them before they same thing happens to them what happened to season one vids! (I must also comment on the wonderful new start-up credit scenes! We now do not get to see the pan shot of Ra, but something better!)
Bad news for all those wanting to buy Stargate DVD’s, as only “The Best Of†will be released on 23rd November this year, not the whole series. This is disappointing news, but don’t give up hope as it might still happen!
“The best of†Features 5 great episodes of series one on a 2 disc set, price will be at $34.05, running time 220 minutes. The episodes are Children of the Gods, There But for the Grace of God, Politics and Within the Serpent’s Grasp.

Well it's true, Adelaide and other captial cities (Melbourne and Perth) are not getting any Stargate at the moment, while Sydney and other capital cities (Perth and Brisbane) are getting series 4.
