I just got a copy of the script for "Children Of The Gods" which I won from an auction on e-bay. It's weird because it's the first draft - there are quite a few variations from the final one which was filmed. They actually had Sam's last name as "Clayman" instead of Carter. Yuk.

That is strange and yucky! Clayman. What other changes did you notice? I heard rumors that Teal'c was the First Prime throughout one version and that he did not change sides? Early script WOW! That is really something! Are you selling or just chatting?

Heh, i have written out the script to pilot but i suppose it wouldn't be as long as the one you won.

clayman, so that is where that fool we used to have on the boards got that name from.

It's really interesting to read those scripts. I've got a couple and always find things that weren't filmed the way they were originally written. In Fire & Water, for instance, they had the hypnotizing scene done at Danny's apartment.

Yeah. I'm going to go through the script while actually watching the DVD of the pilot ep and take notes on all the changes I find. Then I'll post them.
