For anyone who ever wanted to see what it is like to be a judge or a juror, this is the epy. Each person being interrogated tells the truth about what he or she thinks they saw. None of them lies, at least they don't think they are lying. Their stories are also founded upon who they trust, what they trust about each other (who each believes is tested in battle, who is too emotional, who is loyal to the end, etc.). It is a truly interesting microcosm of how our legal system becomes so messy because the very foundation of where and how we were brought up biases us (oh, such a naughty word that no juror likes to apply to his or her self) from the very moment we walk into the courtroom.
It gave me much to think about, much to learn. Again.
