After traveling through a cluster of pulsars, the crew starts to hoard crackers, and go crackers. It turns out that Traltixx is the problem. He is an alien D'Argo brings on board, supposedly to fix a shielding that no one can penetrate. He turns out to be from a race that needs light for power, and he plugs in to Moya to suck her of her energy through light.

The effects on the crew (except Zhaan, who was having an amazing time) is pretty much to bring out the worst in all of them.

:(

A 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone was crazy and ready to kill each other. fighting over the most stupid things. It was scary how Mr. Trailtikk manipolited Crighton. And the reason for all of his evil. He wanted to make the universe's greastest light bulb.

My favorite scene is

Crighton:This stuff smells like Puke.

Zhann: I did predigest it to improve potantcy.

Crighton: It is puke!

Just seen it and liked it a lot. Everybody going mental and John and Aeryn going John Woo at each other. :D Great fun episode.

BTW Scorpy in an Hawaiishirt rocks :)

Grifter :upto:

As you can see, I didn't create a mini-epy review because, at the time, I hadn't seen this one. At this point, I haven't seen it in so long, I still can't write one.

Anyone care to help out?:rolly2:

tex how do u write a reveiw about this one i wouldnt know were to begin lol
apart from they all went doo looo layy :D:D:D:D

You can look at most of the threads in Season one and two which are entitled with both the name of the epy and the episode number - most of those I wrote (in a bit of a hurry - sorry) beginning the thread with the episode review. Some of them are short.

I tried NOT TO GIVE EVERYTHING AWAY - kind of leaving a "teaser" line at the end about something in the epy I thought was interesting. It gives the members something to begin discussing.

You don't have to write an epistle - just a little something about the characters upon whom the primary focus is in that epy.

Give it a try!!!

I wish channel 9 hadn't skipped this one, everyone keeps telling me it was great :D:D

yeah really funny . wicked acting if u ask me
Aeryn was crazy . and john . ahhhhhhhooo crazyist of them all lol

you know you guys aren't making me feel any better.

however, I have heard that the episodes they aren't screening at 5pm are going to be shown later in the year at a decent time so they don't have to be cut :D:D

Actually this episode was kind of a mixed bag. A lot of really funny stuff happened, but at what cost?

Did you see John and Aeryn's worst exchange? He accused her of not capable of being loyal to anything or anyone, then called a "frigid, flat-butted, Peacekeeper skank." Pretty harsh.

For her part, she told him he was nothing more than a test monkey who failed his first experiment and that his father was the real hero.

Yeah, John has some issues about his parents, but damn, girl... that was harsh!

The tag said it all...

"How'd you come up with that?"
"It's just there, Pip."

"Zhaan, how do you take it all back?"

Can they? Is it still there? Just under the surface waiting to be brought out again?

What's a poor Erpling to do?

one more time . . .

Shown tonight as part of Farscape month. It's amazing how many little things go into each show (I read in an interview recently that from the time someone pitches an idea until the finishing touches are put on an epy is about 9 months).

What Crichton looked like at the end (protected from the light/heat) when he was trying to stop the alien was nothing short of priceless! He looked like the stereotype of a stupid Erpling!

And I had forgotten how in your face they all were with each other. I want to watch reruns of the next epys that came immediately after this one and see how (or if) the epys reflect the need to make an additional effort to get past their horrible treatment of each other ("we can't" [take it back], said Zhaan).

Now I don't want to get off on a rant here but...

This episode totally kicks eema! Watching it right now (on Skiffy, but hey, whaddaya gonna do).

Is this the first "photogasm" episode?! "Put her in the light, watch her smile."

Naw, the first photogasm eppy was Til the Blood Runs Clear. Remember how usless Zhaan was once she was dirtside? She was incapacitated by pleasure because Furlow's planet was so bloody sunny! :alienooh:

Love Crichton The Rediculous, too!

Now I don't want to get off on a rant here but...

That's right. I remember now. It was late when I posted that, so there's my excuse.

And that image of Crichton all made up with puke on his face and the cap and cape running around like a drunk frat boy. Priceless.

I'll start by say I absolutely loved this episode! Crazy John and Evil John are favorites of mine and we got a dose of both here.

One of my favorites scenes:

Crichton (singing): I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Baskin Robbins, Ben & Jerry's, Good Humor. What's your favorite -- creamsicle or fudgesicle? :D

I agree with John about the whole 'saving their butts thing'. If he's the deficient one how come he was able to track them all down and capture them? He even got Aeryn! Not an easy job, even when she is psycho.

I hate it when Crichton gets picked on. First Pilot asks him if there's anything he does well, then everyone tells him his eye sight is bad. Even though he saves them all once again, no one says thank you, or sorry. Chiana at least told him he did good. None of the others even went that far. *sigh* Poor John.

A Question From This Ep:

Was Crichton seeing Scorpie because of the neural chip or because he was just nuts?

Was Crichton seeing Scorpie because of the neural chip or because he was just nuts?
I think it was the going nuts factor, myself, but I think this incarnation of "Harvey" is what inspired DK and others to insert the neural clone later in the season... over... and over... and over.

Good question, btw. One I've asked myself time and again. The answer above it just the one I came up with to satisfy myself.

Could be a good discussion if there are reasons why people think it really was Harvey.

I don't think it was because he wasn't doing anything overt to "save" John. I think it was more like the little devil on his shoulder telling him all the bad things he ought to do now that everyone was going bonkers.

Anyone else?
