I Finally got the SG-1 soundtrack!

Well after about 2 months and $50 Aussie bucks, i have the SG-1 soundtrack!!! I carefully (and proudly) placed it in my cd rack next to my movie Stargate soundtrack, and sighed a sound of relief!

You mean you put it away right away with out even listening to it?

Yes, I needed to admire it next to the Movie soundtrack first

ok well when i normally buy a cd i wera it out then put it away.

Hehe, you can wear out cds?

Not really but they can get scratched and sort of worn down through playing and skipping around etc. after a long time.My thirteen year old is kind of rough on some cds.

okay, well i treat all my cds with respect (except maybe my Korn one )

for all who search the different songs from stargate u only must look into napster. i found about 100 search results and there are good ones with them. with a good internet connection it takes u about 5 mins per song

okay Marty, spill the beans, what's on the Stargate soundtrack CD? Is it just the musical score from the film, or are there songs by artists I might've heard of?

very good quality ...

192 kbps , 44.1 kHz ..

and takes only about 1.5 megz ..

There are some sites where the quality is spotty and it is not always the sites fault. So, very glad you got a good one!

Martouf! You lucky, lucky....person! I did see a copy of the 'Stargate' soundtrack in HMV a few weeks ago, but I decided, somewhat pathetically, that the quality of the music would not make up for the reaction of the rest of my family. I didn't, therefore, buy the thing. I do however, loyally look for the SG-1 soundtrack any time I'm in there, and bored with my sister's inability to, in fact, leave the shop so I can get into Waterstones before it closes (Bookshop, sorry, I'm not sure if you'd know).On the music for the series itself, I can admit to taking advantage of being home alone, watching an SG-1 video, getting close to the end, and turning up the volume so that I can enjoy the full effect of the Stargate theme over the end titles!
