sg-1's aussie progress...

just a bit of info.......
Tasmania (Southern Cross TV)
is up to episode "New Ground"
Victoria, South Aus, NT, Central (Seven, Prime)
are up to "Foothold"
Western Aus, QLD, NSW ACT (Seven, Prime, GWN)
is up to "Window of opportunity"

plus i have some bad news for some people getting season 4, apparently next week's episode "watergate" will be the final for 2000, and it will return (once all the other states have caught up) in february.
i have made another observation: the villa is finishing next week, so we (people up to season 3) may get double episodes of stargate for a while (8:30 - 10:30), fingers crossed.

and by the way, who is going to BOBW 11 (stargate convention) in feb 2001?

i have been told that the season 4 episodes will stop at watergate, so on tonights promo for watergate they may say "the series final of stargate next week" or something like that, you know what channel 7 is like, but this time it is not their fault, apparently thay have only recieved episodes up to watergate, but they have the rights to all of season 4. and actually it is seven episodes of S4 you will have seen.

Gatecon - i know the people who run BOBW, and they're great people, so i am really looking foward to going next year. i am going to all the events, what are you going to?

I Have met Adele about 2 years ago... and yes... both her and her husband (sorry name eludes me) are both great people. I'm looking forward to seeing Adele again, and also catching up with a few people who came to Gatecon, as well as meeting new people.

I will be trying to get to all events. And also intoducing my wife to her very first con.

As for the episode thing... I supposed I should be used to it with Seven/Prime (season 1 ran for one and a half seasons, then season two was only the rest of the season 2 episodes). It's not the first time it has happend, and probably won't be the last. At least we will all get to see window of opportunity... It was the most talked about episode at Gatecon 2000. I'm really looking forward to seeing if it is a good as everyone says it is.

Actually, I wouldn't mind waiting a bit if it means ALL Australians are seeing the same episodes. It would really make talkinmg about episodes to fellow Aussies without worrying about spoilers.

Besides... I have over 70 episodes in my collection to keep me happy while I wait.

And just to let you know, you guys have some excellent episodes ahead of you. I laughed myself silly watching 'Window of Opportunity' last night.

Canberra last night showed "Window of Opportunity" and let me tell you without spoilers, If you have to miss an episode, DON'T let it be this one.
Also there was no mention of a season break but keep in mind that rating season is over and idiots are responsible for programming so heaven only knows what is around the corner.

Yes i absolutely loved window of opportunity, i just received small vics - the first ones, from the us and the are great. season 4 is getting pretty great, there has not been an episode that i thought wasnt great.
i guess that we will have to wait until monday's tv week to see if stargate is scheduled for 'the first ones'. you never know they could show repeats through the summer, or is that just wishful thinking.
by the way, does anybody tape the promo's at the end of each episode? because i am making a compilation of all the sg-1 promo's from channel 7, and i need a few:
all of season 1
a matter of time
the fifth race
the tok'ra part 1
out of mind
point of view
deadman switch
small victories
upgrades

if any body has all/some of these promo's please reply, because i will pay to get these.

73 in total. And duplicates of most of them.

Info just in, for those of us that are already on season 4. It's good news that the rest of the country will get to catch up with us... so in the mean time, it looks like Prime/Seven will rerun series 1 while you all catch up.

I can't confirm this totally, but after tonights episode 'Watergate', we will be seeing 'The Enemy Within' Next week. One would assume, they will either continue with series one, or knowing the seven network, probably give out out of order spasmodic episodes.

At least they're not killing it yet for the summer break. Even if they are old episodes... I can still sit down and watch them till the cows come home.

Last night on channel seven they announced that stargate will be back in 2 weeks. Next week is a two hour episode of Jag ("season finale" probably). Interestingly, there was no "next on stargate" clip at the end. Whether this is because of the week's gap, I don't know. Or, more likely, that's when we go back to season one. I'm another one who doesn't care. I don't have all season one on tape so it's a great chance to pick them up. I'm sad that we're not seeing the most recent episodes but, yeah, I'll watch any stargate anytime (or is that, all the time?) no reasons needed.
