You're being mean, but honest, so even Rygel would approve.

Rygel's so selfish and self-indulgent that he really makes me think when he manages to be self-sacrificing or generous or touching.

During Aeryn's funeral, I was okay right until Rygel gave her his pendant and said, "you deserve this more than me." :crying:

Then, when Zhaan talked him out of killing Crichton in SIW, I really had to give him credit when he said, "Have I ever told you how much I appreciate your counsel?" and she answered, "Constantly, by accepting it."

There are moments when all the character touch me, even Rygel, so I can't bring myself to say, "Space him." Not anymore. He's earned at least a grudging respect. :blush:

rather ask your self "What does he give to the show"

because Moya would be fine without Rygel, Crichton, Aeryn and all the others..
She would be just fine with only Pilot. what damage can he make?
Ok, fine. The crew is good sometimes but they have done more damage to Moya then good..

But I don't care about that.

I think he gives plenty to the show..

Just to put my lil view in here, Rygel is great,he has many qualities, he may be selfish but that's what gives him part of his charm. He does help the crew albeit most of the time he is forced, eg. Liars, Guns and Money. Also he is funny, especially with his helium farts, lol they make me laugh everytime! Then again I just like him cos he's ickle and sweet!

Youve really gotta give it to Lani Tupu and Jonathan Hardy.. they can make us feel all sad and tingly (or is that just me?!) with theyre voices alone..

Probably helps that theyre excellent 'muppets'.. Rygels face can convey a ton of emotions really well..
