Gatecon documentary

Hey, there! I'm a newbie to this list (like I really NEED another list!! LOL!!) Anyway, yes, I went to Gatecon. It was fantastic (posted my review on the Gatecon site today; and other articles on Starguide - new article in posting process right now.)

Alright, down to the business at hand: has there been any information released to anyone yet about when the documentary MGM was filming on Saturday would be shown? I'm anxious to see it. I imagine it will be shown on Showtime, and I can only hope we'll get some advance notice. I half expect them to show it as a "surprise" filler one day before "10 Sharp", and I'd only catch the last minute or so, since I set my VCR for two minutes before show-time.

Hi Debra,

No real word back from MGM yet. The documentary MGM was making wasn't soley on Gatecon, but a Stargate SG-1 Doco in general. The original word was that the Gatecon section would take up about 10 minutes in a 1 hour show.

We were originally told somewhere around November, but as you can appreciate, projects like these (especially documentaries) can take a while to produce.

We will keep you all posted as soon as we know any news.
