The WB`s Grosse Pointe has added two more teen TV stars as guest actors to the series. Sarah Michelle Gellar, who plays the lead role in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and former-Beverly Hills, 90210 heartthrob Jason Priestley will appear in upcoming episodes.
The guest spot on Grosse Pointe will reunite Priestley, who will also be directing an episode, with former 90210 producer Darren Star, who now executive produces The WB comedy.
"Jason and I have a long relationship and to have him direct Grosse Pointe is like coming full circle for me," Star said.
The same is true for Gellar and Star, who worked together on Star`s HBO series Sex and the City.
"Sarah and I began talking about her guest starring last fall. It was just a matter of coordinating schedules," Star said. "I am a long time fan and am thrilled to be working with her again on Grosse Pointe."
Gross Pointe, which debuted on The WB this fall, parodies teen shows, particularly teen dramas like 90210 and Buffy.
Priestly has previously directed episodes of 90210 and the FOX TV movie Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye. Most recently he directed and produced the rockumentary Barenaked in America, about the Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies.
Aside from "Buffy," Gellar has appeared in the films I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions and Scream 2. She also won a Daytime Emmy for her role as Erica Kane`s daughter on All My Children.
