Room Sharing at Gatecon 2001

If anyone is intrested in room sharing, i will be at the hotel from 17th September to 26th September 2001.

Dont have to be whole duration, the more days the better

Does this mean that your cohorts aren't going to be coming next year. That would be a shame.

But for anyone else reading this and contemplating the offer, I will vouch for Dave as being a very well respected gentleman, he only looks scary :-D

the hotel will let us do that? i think i signed up for a standard king, don't remember if that's one bed or two...but to save $50 a night i could live with a roomie too.
here the hotels usually ask how many people are in the room and charge a few bucks more if there are more people.
if it's kosher here's one female who wouldn't mind sharing...

Judging from last year they didnt' charge any extra for two people in a room, me and Brenda roomed together last year (and are again this year) and got a double room and it was regular price, only split in half for two people!!

well sweet! let me find out for sure if my room has two beds and i'll offer a room too(if you don't mind dave. i wouldn't mind sharing with you but i think i wanna at lease meet a guy before i share a hotel room with him )

In the end of the day, eveyone wants to save money on accomadation - so they have more to spend on the event. lol


Will be booking my room in the new year once i have sorted out my flight plan.

sharing rooms

On room sharing: The hotel doesn't mind room sharing, but they tack on a small fee with three people or more in a room. Considering the room rates are pretty low to begin with [that was a major factor I looked at when hotel scouting], it won't add up to much. If I remember right, off the top of my head, for a 'single king' or a 'double double' [two double beds] it's around $115.00Can and $135.00 for another body.

Richard will have all the current fees and charges since we have the finial contract signed with the Best Western.

Room Sharing

Hi Rowan,

The good news is that jadar (travis) is now attending Gatecon 2001 and we will be sharing a room - lol.


But i dont mind sharing a room with any lovely ladies too (lol)


Just had to say it - hehe


We will be there from the 17th, woo hoo, cant wait.


And regarding the shirts - all 4 shirts are coming too and i got a little surprise regarding them too - but that will have to wait to gatecon 2001 - trust me - you will want your camera with you - lol.

Good to hear 'The *Other* Fab Four' will be in attendance. Guess I'm just gonna have to find a dress that can out do thoses shirts. Assuming the Canadian Boarders Guards will let me in the country with it. :-}
