Rittenhouse Archives proudly announces the signing of Kevin Sorbo, long-time star of the hit TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and current star of the hit TV series Andromeda, to an autograph deal. Rittenhouse plans to issue a trading card series based on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys in late 2001 and to use Sorbo's autographs as one of the major product highlights.
"We are thrilled to have entered into this agreement with Kevin Sorbo," exclaimed Steve Charendoff, President of Rittenhouse Archives. "He has clearly established himself as one of the all-time leading men in sci-fi/fantasy television and an extremely popular figure among collectors. I believe this once again demonstrates our determination to bring the very best actors and actresses as autograph signers to our products."
In addition to Sorbo, other key figures who have been signed to similar autograph deals by Rittenhouse include Lucy Lawless and Rene O'Connor of Xena: Warrior Princess; William Shatner of Star Trek; Robert Conrad of The Wild, Wild West; Burt Reynolds, Jack Klugman, Buddy Ebsen and Don Rickles of The Twilight Zone; Richard Dean Anderson of Stargate SG-1; Ben Browder and Claudia Black of Farscape; Adam West (1960's Batman) of The Outer Limits; and many more.
Richard Dean Anderson will be featured in Rittenhouse's Stargate SG-1 trading card product in February, Claudia Black in Farscape In Motion in February, and Lucy Lawless in Xena: Warrior Princess in March.
More details of Rittenhouse's card series based on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys will be made available on the company's website, http://www.scifihobby.com, in the weeks and months ahead.
