Is anyone doing anything exciting for New Year's.
Anyone going to the Harbour and doing the be seen, get crushed thing?
As for me, on New Year's Day, I'll be having lunch with the in-laws in Gunnedah (about an hour west of Tamworth). Sounds like a re-run of Christmas but this time my husband will be there too instead of working, so that's a nice change.
It'll be soooo gosh darn golly HOT that we'll fall down and sleep, get up and go for a swim, then go for a walk in the early evening looking for koalas (Gunnedah has a HUGE population of the things) then we'll come home.
As for New Year's Eve, well I'm old (over 30) so I'll be at home probably ignoring all the hoo-ha.
This is the real new century and new millenium. All that stuff last year was just a practice run.
