SG-1 Figurines?

my friend is visiting Sydney and he said he saw SG-1 figurines in 'Electronic Boutiqe' (sp?) for $49.95 each,

can someone verify this, cause i did not know anythig about figurines in Aus, they are either unoifficial or my friend is a ******* :)
 
i would say that your best friends is a *******, sorry!, i know there are movie figurines, but i havn't heard of sg1 firgurines, if there is, i want em.
 
hmm.... he seemed like he wasn't lying, maybe a little email to 'electronic boutique' is in order?.... is that a well known store?

at $49.95 they are expensive

I can confirm that there are Stargate SG-1 figurines. I heard about them about 3 months ago from several different sources. Also I read an interview where Michael Shanks was talking about them. He was saying how the Daniel figurine looked nothing like him. It sounded really cool that they made figurines so I did some asking around and talked to some people in the States who had them. I have been searching around for a while for them in Oz (emailing/ringing stores etc.) but I have had no such luck locating any. If your friend is right about what he saw then it is probably one of the only places here in Australia that actually has them. They are IMPOSSIBLE to track down.

yeah, but $200 for all of SG-1 some of us just can't throw money around like that.....

by the way i found $50 yesterday :) wil lhelp with the next vid releases :)
 
you found 50 bucks!!!!! you luck *******, i want to find $50, oh well, you can't have every thing.
 
Yeah, the figurines are really expensive. I would rather spend my money on vids as well. You'd get more use out of them. Plus, if the figurines don't actually look anything like the actors then what's the point.
 
hmm.... yeah but $80 of vids is commin out on the 7th, it round down to about 3 vids per 2 months
 
yeah, i should save for that, plus the dvd as well, fark that is $110 in 1 week, im gonna be broke for a while.
 
yeah, but what happens when you are the big brother?
sometimes it sucks, but being the eldest does have its advantages ;)
