I get this dvd few days ago, actually on friday.
So here's review:
Story: Well is it surprise I’m gonna give five stars to story that’s all ‘cos I’m real Stargate freak ‘n Stargate’s the best 4ever. Into Fire is my favo ‘cos there’s perfect story, visual effects,and specially sound effects. The budget is much bigger than season 1&3, that big u can see of visual effects and sound effects much much more than 2nd season. 5 stars of 5
Sounds: Sound format is mixed only to DVD to Dolby Digital 5.1(on TV&VHS just Dolby Surround 4.0). Finally sound mixers realizes they can use more LFE ‘n back canals or maybe they didn’t used back canals as much ‘cos the budget ain’t so big in season 1&2 . I think in Stargate is best sound ever when we talk ‘bout TV series,so is the story too.Sounds r just like in big budget movies. Helicopters fly over ‘n subwoofer rumb. Sound world is natural, if I can recommend one disk it this!! 5 stars of 5
Screen: Widescreen 1:77.1 , Anamorphic. There’s a little bit screen’s rush, but only in episode Into the fire. Obviously they changed camera and that’s why screen’s perfect ‘cos on DVD is ova twice time better screen quality than on VHS. 4 stars of 5
Extras: Featurette - "Gateway To The Edge Of The Universe".
Original Season 3 Trailer. It’s very unusually in TV series DVD is extras, but Stargate’s the best so they though to add some extras to DVD. 4 stars of 5.
