LOL. Get to work w/o traffic, and it parks easy. Scare the hell out of the CHP, too.

For me, it'd have to b the Ribbon Device and personal shield.

The trans-phase invisibility gadget would also have some interesting if dubiously legal (or moral  ) uses...

staff weapons

what ive always wondered is why dont sg1 and other teams
take some goa'uld staff weapons and more zats
they have plenty of oppertunities and the weapons would be useful, never waste of ammo either

Now that is something that has also bugged me: they are always being in fights with Jaffa, near gates, or other places, where they beat the Jaffa hands down - but never take any of their goodies. More precisely of course we never SEE them do it.

In "Forver In a Day" for example, they COULD have done it, given what technology they have come through with them.

What it may be is the standing rule that you can't assume the dropped weapon is safe and not booby-trapped: just look at "Platoon" for examples of not thinking about traps. Even better is "Surviving the Game", which shows the same with weapons.

BUT, in general - they could whip them all back through the gate for specialist assessment, renovation and re-use.

[PS. When did Tea'lc get his helpmet back - he dropped half his armour in COTG, but gets it back by Bloodlines? (Same principle? Are they collecting? Doh! Could be from the dead Jaffa in COTG...]

Ribbon Device owns everything! Is it just me or did Sokar have a silver one? (all the rest seem to have gold).

Personal shield and Nirrti's phase shifter were also good, as was Aris Boch's custom-gun thing (like a staff, zat, and TER all put together!) although he just uses goa'uld technology and isn't actually a goa'uld so that prolly doesn't count.........

Certainly the Ribbon Device is versatile and powerful: short-range weapon, defensive shield (needs beefing up to avoid throwing knives!), ring-device control, torture instrument and intra-mental message transmission.

I personally think, since there is no other method, it could be used to control stargates (Children of the Gods, as potentially used by Apophis in the pre-titles.)

I love the torture deivce that makes you face glow yellow. I'd also like to have one of those big honkin' guns that they use to shoot at blast doors, etc., -> this device was seen in There But For The Grace Of God when alternate universe Teal'c killed "General" O' Neill for nuking Chulak.

That cannon is seen again the The Fifth Man, isn't it? Affixed on a Death Glider or soemthing?

I don't know which one to choose.
Some of them are very good because of the concept or even their sounds (staff, rings, ribbon device, death glider, etc.).
