kel sha,

after some episodes where there were battles between tau'ri and goa'uld i must ask me if the jaffa on the goa'uld side need some AIM TRAINING !!!!

but it's funny ->> sometimes when SG-1 stands against about 20 jaffas they kill / hurt them and defeat them but then there are situations where a sg-1 member is hurt against 2 or 3 jaffa :)

so here is the order of Apophis to all jaffa:

EVERY MEMBER OF A BATTLE SQUAD MUST COME TO CHULAK AND PROVE THAT HE CAN HANDLE HIS STUFF WEAPON -- IN CASE OF FAILURE YOU BETTER RUN LIKE HELL !!

Yeah, I know what you mean, especially in Forever In A Day, when all minus Daniel probly, managed to win. Altho the Nox was good, 'cos they all died! and btw, WHY did Apophis look so stressed in that eps?! It's like  and I'm not exagerating! (Soz, can't spell!)

kel sha,

yeah - but the all got the damn luck (they always have) to get reanimated by any others ..

if one of Apophis' jaffa would have an zat'n'ktel and would have shoot 3 times on an sg-1 member there would be no chance for them but unfortunately ..

don't know why Apophis look so stressed but nearly at the end i can imagine why (jack's aiming with an bow at him) -- but with his cleverness he disappeared ..

kree sha !

P.S.: how could teal'c flee from the battle ?? he wasn't wounded but fled from APophis while he was aiming on teal'c ????

If your talking bout Nox, i think the Nox 'dissappeared' him, didn't they? what you talking about? Why do I always end up having one on one chats with you? Not that I'm complaining...;)

kel sha,

*LOL* that's quite cool - we two again ;)

i now "checked" it :) -- first time i saw this ep i thought Apophis disappeared by himself but i now think the Nox saved him before Jack -- and so they saved the shol'va teal'c from Apophis ..

The Nox abhor violence and so they make any creature that is threatened dissappear.

However as seen Pretense they tread a very fine line at times between violence and non-violence.

Do you think that this is due in part to what happened on the Nox homeworld in 'The Nox'?

kel sha,

don't know why .. i only see that the nox are a very peacful people and they never attack they only act defensive (and this defensive action are disappearing to hurt nobody ...) --

but it would be interesting if they are as peaceful as in case that anyone attacks their city in the sky to erase the whole nox or if any race has a "anti-disappear-device" to make them visible ...

i think the people of the tau'ri could learn a lot from the nox (no aggressions, no war, ..) ..

Why Jaffa shoot so poorly....the shakes. They are so nervous about what Apophis will do to them if they fail him that they start to shake and can't aim correctly. :)

kel sha,

it's equal to die in battle or during reporting ur fail to Apophis -- in all 2 cases it seems to be u're dead :) :)

but they die for Apophis - and that's an honour ..

Hey, simply serving Apophis is an honour!

kel sha,

right kelsi that's out of question that it is an honour for every lifeform to serve the godlike goa'uld ..
but there are some shol'va like teal'c which betrayed Apophis and it's one of our missions to kill these subjects ..
BTW i must tell you that the price for teal'c is 600.000 shesta dead and 1.000.000 shesta alive ...
would be a great pleasure to saw him so slowly (and often) dieing ...

Well, y'know, just thought I'd point out the obvious!
Well, dunno about killing, he does sometimes come up with funny lines... ;) (Dying [excuse the pun!] to quote S4 here, but I won't...)

well, maybe their aim is so bad cause if its wasnt, there wouldnt be much for us to talk about.. they'd all be dead, and no sarcophagus in sight in FIAD, or lots of others!.. (or nox, for that matter...)..

maybe they got bad eyesight?

so let's just count our lucky stars.. and hope no opthammologist becomes a go'a'ould host!

kel sha,

i had a funny idea this moment .... can u imagine a fightin' jaffa wiht glasses :)

perhaps daniel would like the goa'uld a little bit more *greatLOL*

Hey, don;t let Daniel hear you say that - remember the comment in Rules Of Engagement? Four eyes? Easy tiger....

Why the jaffa are such bad shots? I think it's like in Star Wars --- they can't see a thing in those damn helmets!

Actually, the latest example of lousy Jaffa marksmanship and battle regrouping tactics was in the Double Jeopardy episode. SG1 just kept firing and firing, they never reloaded as far as I could see and the Jaffa just kept running along the corridor towards them getting mowed down by the neverending magical stream of bullets!! :laugh2: There were supposed to be 1000 Jaffa on that ship and SG1 managed to go through all of them? I don't think so!!!

The Jaffa didn't once fall back, regroup and reconsider their options as any decent bunch of soldiers would. Instead they were like a bunch of lemmings all jumping off the cliff together. In fact they seem like a bunch of whusses to me! If I'd been Chronos I wouldn't have trusted my safety to any of them. For starters I wouldn't have seen Teal'c... any idiot could have spotted THAT as a sheer set up. I'd have told the black leather-clad biker babe Goa'uld to get on with her job and stop passing the buck. Also I'd have had an escape pod handy and left 'em all to it long before SG1 bulldozed their way onto the bridge to get me. All the doors on my ship would have had a manual override as well!!

How can you tell that I've thought about this? :laugh2:

yeah another good example was in exodus - the absolutely pitiful "ambush" they set up for teal'c and jack. i mean how hard could it be to shoot 2 completely unsuspecting guys in the back and yet they still managed to miss one and get themselves killed. i think the training has gotten a little lax in jaffaville since teal'c left.

kel sha,

if i would be an systemlord i would also own a ship-remote-controlling unit (without anyone other knows about that) with me to be able to control the ship in case of the main command terminal is destroyed (e.g. serpent's lair+grasp) ..

i think if a ship (or structure) is "only" normal guarded 4 persons wouldn't have a chance to enter it if there are hundreds of jaffa inside ..

as first prime i'm responsable for the ship security and i can assure that no intruder would be able to enter one of Apophis' ships now ;)
