season 1 dvd

I see in previous posts that this has been mentioned recently,but today I read a post in a UK dvd news group, that some one had seen news on the US Amazon web site about the release of a season 1 dvd box set in the spring/summer,Ive looked but can find nothing(i might not be looking in the right place)can anyone shed any more light on this.

With the DVD release set for this spring, I might check again in the MGM Store on line. (Not necessarily to buy) But the release date seems to get pushed back...alot! Make sure if you do find it to tell us and to check which region it belongs to! If you don't get the correct region it might not play in your machine!

I am glad that you posted and made a new thread! That is grand! Are you finding your way around this site? The easiest way is with the pull down menu at the bottom of your page. Stargate sections is at the top of this menu!

At the top of your page are the other Sections to visit. In Films you can find talk about the new Stargate movie that MGM is planning and speculations about what you would like to see in it! We also have a Book Section and one on Anime and Shows such as Farscape, 7 Days, Andromeda, and older ones such as the Treks and Dr. Who.

When you post please keep in mind that we are a friendly group and do not flame our members, keep your post 'g' rated and we use SPOILER SPACE out side of the Current Season (now 4) fora so we do not spoil the members who don't have the current season yet! Ask questions, post comments and quiries (as you have done here) and make new threads if you don't find what you want to post on. If you have problems please contact one of the moderators by post
or email (we have email icons on the bottom of our posts) and we will get back to you!

You will find a surprise following you after 30 posts and can name and introduce it in the General Discussions thread called ~ alien! So browse, post and most of all enjoy yourself here!

Thank you Mything. The last Release date for DVD'sfor season one I read was on Darren's site. It said May 2001 for US Release! They keep changing the date!

Go to the 'Shop' section and you'll see it from there.
I hope this helps you, and it seems that by pre-orderding it might save a few bucks.

Thank you for posting! Your information helps us here! We are glad that you finally delurked and posted. The first post is always the hardest. Now that you have broken the ice, WELCOME!

For those that can't afford the entire first season, it also looks like another 4 episode DVD is coming out at about the same time.

A search on Amazon lists both.
