New Star Trek Series?

The Star Trek Voyager series is about to end. I have heard on the grapevine that there is to be a new series.

Does anyone know what it might be?

I have heard mentioned that it may concern the "Excelsior". Or that it might be about the "Star Trek Academy".
I've even heard that Kevin Sorbo may be in the new series.

I would appreciate any links concerning a possible new series, or any news that might help me in my search.

Kevin Sorbo is on Andromeda, as Dylan Hunt, the new Sci-Fi show produced by Majel Barett Roddenbery. Which, I hear, is successful.
