News on the film:
The actors that play General Hammond and Dr. Frasier have confirmed that the film will continue on in the "SG-1" universe established by the television series.
Reports also state that the actors say they have been approached to appear in the film.

Davis (Hammond) and Rothery (Frasier) went on to state that production should begin in October, shortly after filming of Season Five of the show finishes.

The news was a surprise to Peter Williams, the actor who plays Apophis, who has not yet been aproached to appear in the film.

Yeah, I saw that. I can't believe they haven't asked Peter Williams! (Unless he's taking a leaf outta JR's book!) It wouldn't be the same without him! they have to have @ least one Goa'uld in it! Oh mayb the Goa'uld used will b killed off, so they didn't want to ask Apophis!
