Perhaps the women can speak to this; is he really that wonderfull to gaze at?
First it was Vaitiare Bandera, not entirely my type, but easy on the eyes - however it seems that it is a ting of the the past.
A recent post in the Andromeda forum reprints an interview with a writer from that show, Ethlie Ann Vare, talking among other things about an upcomming episode where the sentient ship Andromda falls for another sentient ship (woohoo) played by Michael Shanks. Ethlie Ann Vare writes:
Grrrr, the lovely Lexa Doig, now I can't even dream anymore
Her mother is from the Philippines and her father from Scotland where Doig apparently is a common last name. Her first name is Alexandra, she's 28, likes to play RPGs on the computer and apprenly likes to play jokes on the set. Oh well.
