MAJOR SPOILERS.
You were warned; this may spoil your enjoyment
This is from memory so a bit sketchy:
SG-1 goes to help the Tok’ra move to a new planet from Vorash. They know that Tanith has told Apophis where they are. Jack brings Chronos’ mother ship, he must have flown it himself, and conveniently he has got rid of all the Jaffa that were on it. The plan is to use the mother ship to move the Tok’ra and their Gate.
Tanith's punishment is to have his Goa’uld painfully removed, but he escapes. Teal’c vows that having let him escape twice; he won’t let him escape a third time. He asks Daniel if he would not feel the same way about Apophis – Daniel hardly has anything else to say in this episode.
They know Apophis is coming now so they change their plan. Jack has lot's of good quotes. I've forgotten most, wish I had videoed it. "Last time I help someone move planet" was one.
The Tok’ra leave through the Gate. Jack, Daniel, Teal’c, Sam, and Jacob take the Gate by the ship, to the planets’ star. They have put a forcefield on it, and dialled out to that black hole Gate they went to. When it reaches the star, the forcefield will switch off, star material will be sucked to the black hole. This will result in the star going nova, and destroying everything in the solar system, including Apophis – ‘Hammer to crack a nut!’ The Gate will burn up, eventually, and cut the link.
Someone attacks them. It can’t be Apophis yet, so it must be a ship waiting for Tanith, who is still loose on the planet. Their mother ship needs repairs. Teal’c and Jack go to defend them in a glider, but Teal’c decides to go after Tanith. Dog fight….. blah, blah… end up crashing on planet. Tanith captures Teal’c, Jack escapes.
Mother ship fixed. Apophis arrives. Rescue Jack. Star goes nova.
Do you want more?
They jump to hyperdrive, but end up 1000 light years away. The nova must have affected the jump. No way to get back. (unless they pass the USS Voyager going the other way).
Just then Apophis ship arrives too. Same thing happened to him. So two ships, mortal enemies, stranded light years from home, (this is very original?)
Teal’c is still a prisoner. Cue the credits.
