i doubt it, at least not as long as the show is on the air. it is incredibly hard to have a relationship much less having one where you can't tell your hubby where you go off to every day, or when you disappear for days to weeks on end inside a mountain...not to mention little things like the various and sundry scars she's accumulated...different blood chemistry, really weird nightmares etc...
and then there is that whole kids part. it is harder for a female to have kids and then go off saving the world while her hubby plays mr. mom...

i agree!!
they can't have sam get married until the end of the show. its way harder for a women to do the marriage, career kids thing then for guys but besides it would wreck the chemistry and the mix the team has now if they change the dynamics

I think she'd marry eventually but (hopefully) we'll never see it. It'd ruin her character dynamic with the other team members.

it would change the character dynamic, then again t would if any of them married. if sam had a hubby then(as platonic as their relationships may be) the guys would have to share her....and it'd change things.

same if the boys got married...unless they formed the anti-sg1, three ladies and a man commiserating together while thier sig others are off saving the world

Clearly marriage is an unworkable solution (while the show is on the air) - look at Daniel. The guy just can't get a break! Every woman he's "married," or gotten close to, tries to kill or maim him.

I think that is an omen - better stay away from the marriage gig (at least for awhile). Sam can just go fishing.

Still, Sam did get to play out the married life in 2010. Granted, she did choose to save the world and alter the future rather than stay with her hubby (I guess that must have hurt his ego a bit! )

She'll get married. To Jack. In a magazine interview I read today, Peter DeLuise said that if Sam and Jack did hook up, which they probably would, it would be last ep or last film.

I'd like to believe that Jack and Sam would get together (really I eould - Im a shipper at heart!) but I don't think they'll ever end up together in the series. If there is one thing I've learnt about Stargate, is that there is not always a happy ending.

Yeah, Teal'c could perform the wedding.
Sam and Jack would give their vows and Teal'c would ask the best man to step forward with the ring.
Daniel (being the best man) is just about to hand the ring to Jack, but suddenly a beaten Apophis drags himself through the doorway - shooting Daniel with a staff weapon.

Daniel falls to the floor. Sam gets down on her knees to aid him. The guest all scream and gasp.

Jack just yells "For crying out loud!!"

I really hate Sam's husband in '2010' coz he tries 2 boss Sam around and tell her wot she can and can't do! He was soooo jealous of Jack (heehee!) without ne apparent reason and he didn't trust Sam with other guys neway! Jack should have knocked him out when he had the chance!

Ahh, Joe wasn't that bad... he wasn't no "Jack" though!
He just cared about Sam... but not as much as himself (I think!)
I saying that, it was set 10 years down the line, god knows wha happened in that time space.

I was thinking about this epy before I came to your post. I just thought it was sad when Sam walked around the corner and said to Jack, "so this is where you were always trying to get me to go." (you know, approximately). In this epy, she didn't get to go fishing with Jack. Crap. :dead:

Jack & Sam are going to get married, yes. But either we are at a double wedding, or just at Daniel's wedding, when the female (of whatever species or origin; it doesn't matter) either kills him, or gets them both killed. :laugh2:

Let's face it. Daniel's luck with women tends to be . . . fatal in one way or another. Female number 156 (whatever) finally kills him off. :eek4:
