Have any of you read the Roar books by Sean Kieran about a celtic prince on 400 A.D. ireland?

Ive seen the books but have never read any of them so I can't imagine how they compare to the show . I thought the tv show quite good , well written , produced and acted . Sadly, the the Network didn't give the show enough of a chance. I think this is a show that should be rebooted because now, there would be a better audience for it. :cool:
