So what did people think of this one? It was ok i thought but not the best. Not really scarry at many points a couple perhaps. Didn't build the tension in many places, a few, but not enough. The story was ok I guess but not really that much to it. The first 3 all better me thinks.

I thought the whole idea of the alien Queen adopting a "human" reproductive system was a bit daft... I mean they were pretty effective and a damn sight more scary with the "face huggers"

It was the only film of all "alien series" that I didn't finish to watch. I think that the first film Alien was excellent and also Aliens was great film. I didn't like so much the 3rd film Aliens3. From the last film of the series I saw only about 30 or 40 minutes and really didn't like it.

IMO I thought this film was the second best in the series after Aliens. I didn't like Alien 3 and I didn't really like the original alien either, I don't know if thats because I'm a youngen or whatever, but I didn't find it scary at all. (I think I was too busy laughing at the SFX because the ones we have now are sooo much better) Alien 3 just didn't appeal to me at all.

Alien Resurrection, while not all that scary either, had somefamiliar faces, I mean while that doesn't mean that I only watch films with people I know in them, it was a big bonus for the film

Plot Outline

PLOT OUTLINE (from the IMDb - http://us.imdb.com/Title?0118583 )

It is 200 years since Ellen Ripley died on Fiorina 161. Ripley's former employers, The Weyland-Yutani Company has dissolved and now the United Systems Military has assumed the task of breeding and harnessing the deadly aliens. With blood samples taken from her previous life, scientists clone a new Ripley in order to extract the queen alien inside of her. The new Ripley, known as number 8, acquires physical and emotional traits from both humanity and the aliens, making her question where her allegiances lie. Shortly after, the aliens break free and commence killing those onboard. Ripley, along with a crew of smugglers that unknowingly helped in delivering hosts to breed the alien species, must now escape the perilous ship. Along the way, Ripley encounters a shocking revelation that truly sets herself against both humanity and the alien species. She must now decide what she truly is, in order to save humanity once more.
