Has anyone heard of him? I picked up a book of his, Butchershop in the Sky, yesterday. It reads like a nightmarish collaboration between William Burroughs and the Marquis de Sade. No plotlines, hardly any coherent structure, but the sheer upwelling of diseased prose is quite captivating.

Apparently he was a friend of the band Primal Scream and is currently missing, having last been seen drinking at a club in Japan on December 31st, 1999. Maybe he's just somebody's pseudonym?

Yes I have heard of him. I shared a house with his ex partner Adele. By all accounts your assumptions may be right. I have not spoken to Adele in a while but when I do catch up with her again I will ask if she has heard from him.

3 years isn't a bad time for a thread to wait for its reply - is it! Let me know if you do know anything about Havoc - although I think I've a good idea now who he is/was.

I'm just surprised you could find it again. Place has seen a few changes since you last popped in (we've had the decorators round ).
