I've heard reports that the new Lone Gunman Series is rubbish and others that it's excellent. Has anyone seen it? What's it really like? It'll probably be quite a while before I get to see it. Apparently, they had to stick a stunning woman in with them for sex appeal, does it work? I can't imagine three geeks and Laura Croft but it must be playing for laughs.

The series will premiere this sunday. We have to wait to the first episode
to see what happen. It will be in the slot of X-Files until they return in
April.

Thanks for your reply. I expect we'll have to wait a lot longer in the UK.
Padders has set up another section just for the Lone Gunman series now, and Mythinglink has posted a big article she has found on it, if you're interested.

It was okay. I wasn't really paying much attention to it, but I'm hoping it gets better. The shots were really nice, tho, especially under the Golden Gate Bridge.

What's funny is the fake site that was in the episode has now been "hacked" into by the guys. :)

I'm going to have to give this one a couple of more episodes of watching to make a decision.

[SPOILERS]

It was interesting to see some of Byers background and how he got his start with the group. It explains why he dresses the way he does while Langley and Froheiki (sp) are way out there in dress.

I was a little concerned that they were going to make them too bumbling to be believable, but I think they handled the comic routine in the beginning with Froheki in the MI getup well so as to not make them into the Three Stooges.

I wasn't real impressed with Eve, but then she wasn't shown all that much. Maybe with time.

Cheers,

I find it good and fun to watch. But I suppose as MythingLink say the next episodes will determine
how it goes. I find the comic scenes really good, I think they don't overdo it
too much. Looking forward to the next episode to see what happen. As for the female character,
Eve is her name?. Well, we have to see how they will include her. I think for the scenes of the
next episode she have a more important role in that episode. We'll see. :)

Not clear what you mean about it not going a full season. It's starting it's new time slot here next Friday plus the Sunday time slot until April when X-Files will be back.

Cheers,

Sorry, I misunderstood something I read, about it being on while the X-Files was in recess. I didn't realise that the X-Files Season 8 has finished there, I thought it was just having a short break. That's good that it will run a whole season.

Yes it's on twice a week until the first of April when X-Files takes over its time slot again.
