Maybe it is a stupid question and maybe it was answered somewhere before, but I'm just curious. Anyone know who chose the names of main characters and why that names?

I mean why is Johnatan O'Neill. It's according Johnatan Glassner's name? And why it's O'Neill, Carter...

Considering their relationship with each other, I doubt seriously it's a coincidence that Daniel's name is Jackson = Jack's son.

Other than that, it's speculation.

I'd guess Sam is Sam because they wanted a strong sounding name...... some how, I don't think she'd be the same character if her name was Tiffany or Barbie ......:laugh2:

Now, that is an interesting thing. My sister got annoyed when I accidently flipped between calling the men by first and last names i.e. I said 'Jack', and then 'Jackson', and she got mixed up. These two are too similar, and I usually stick to first names. Very good to know where they might of come from, nice work skydiver.
