Stargate in your Garden !

One thing that really inspires people who watch Sg-1 is the Stargate and the DHD - these two symbols alone powerfully represent the show.

As a result many fans would like to build replica items to display in their gardens. I'm often asked, via my site, for the specs / dimensions / glyphs etc so they can build a replica. Great idea !!

Anyway, a while ago, I think it was Falcon that sent me this picture of gate-style brickwork in somebody's garden (picture from Time Magazine - unsure of month).

Also, on the point of photo's, I don't think the idea of a gate is a new one - when I was on my holdiday's last year I stumbled across this ;

Who needs a gnome when you got something like that in your garden... Do you reckon you need planning permisson to build a thing like that....

I wish that Franklin mint would sell a model of the stargate like they do with a lot of star trek stuff

I just wish there was more Stargate stuff that we could buy, and not have such a struggle getting it...

Those pics were great though......love to have one of those in my garden....mind you, I would love to have a garden that big!! LOL

I know what you mean.. there does not seem to be very much decent merchandise available.... trading cards seem to be the thing at the moment....

I for one want serious decent stuff... not cards...

would love that sitting on my desk next to my trek enemies uniforms models
