For the past few weeks I,ve seen a ton anime movies on the action chanel and showtime everthing from Ninja Sroll to Tekken.I think Ninja Scroll was the best anime movie there is what do you think?

Here is the box that the movie comes in,

Well Ithought the move was great and on a scale form 1-100 I'd give it a 95 because it had ever thing I look for in anime like a great plot that will just make wonder whats going to happen next and it wasn't perdictable like tekken was and it also had lots of violence in it witch keep it exciting.

i was gonna buy that movie but by the time i had enough money it was gone! Some one bought it!Y does this always happen to me!? Unfair it is!

Pesonaly I thought that the movie was O.K. But the ending Sucked. Also Ninja scroll is not Anime but Manga it says so on the box picture above. Don't ask me the differences I jus know that there different.

warning: nerd alert
Manga (man - ga) means 'irresponsible pictures' in Japanese, and refers to comics. It's also the name of an anime distributor (whom you'll find at manga.com or manga.co.uk). They were the UK's (and thus Ireland's) first anime distributor, and specialise in dubbed movies; they're not very discerning (Odin? Guyver? Pah).

As for Ninja Scroll: I was (very) pleasantly surprised. It's not the best, but it's very good.

well...I now own Ninja Scroll and its a decent movie. Its defontly not the best anime movie there is mind you(because that title is reserved for AKIRA!!!)and Im actaully gonna trade my copy to my friend for some Trigun episodes. If ya thinks Im crazy...Triguns outta print and costs 40$ if the stores have any copies left.Ninja scroll is 19$ and is in print still.

Heh, doesn't sound the least bit crazy to me. ;) I did some horse trading to get stuff when I was still seriously Sailor Moon addicted. I love Tuxedo Mask, but as soon as Chibi Usa arrived my interest departed.

Heh, in all fairness I also lost my ready access to Sailor Moon before the second season was entirely brought to this side of the Pacific. I've seen to the end of second season through my horse trading, but I don't have the Cartoon Network so...

I think Ninja Scroll is indeed a great movie. but the best ever. I don't think so, you must be thinking of Perfect blue.

What flaws? The flawless film. Anything you think had wrong with it. It was cos she was insAnE!!

Ninja Scroll is well worth the buy. They knew how to sell it to me, so they put a picture of a ninja warior holding his kick ass sword and called the film Ninja Scroll. Though where was the scroll lol.

It's extreemly and prohibitively violant. I would never recomend it to anyone who I didn't know likes worse films like Fist of the North Star. Though I will watch out for the right type of person to recomend this film to becasue I did enjoy it all, and I was even in awe at the odd point like the blind ninja in the forest, and the green demon with his flying thing at the start.

Senseless gore, violance and nudity.

Awsome :)

Ninja scroll has enough of a story line though to keep people who don't like the violence there.I want to see the series though so very badly :(

And perfect blue does have flaws to it,so =P

oh yes the series. Sooo much anime and so little time!! aaah

What flaws in Perfect Blue? Wait.... I don't want to know. Let that movie just just sit in it's honoured place in my memory untainted.

I will watch it again when I can't rememebr the plot, that way I don't know the film well enough to spot the flaws.

haha its more or less just technical flaws, which used to really get me(like way back,I swear, years ago, when I wrote that last post) but know I notice, but dont mind.

great movie, a little screwy with things like the guy with the bees in his back but still good:rolly2:
