Now if those awards actually meant something.................

well, RDA won a couple of years back..fingers crossed for this year....oh, and for MS and AT

*who thinks CJ must be a bit put out...*

well considering the 'real' awards shows like the oscars & emmys treat sci-fi like the ******* stepchildren of the entertainment industry...guess they'll have to just be grateful they're up for anything...

Well, at least it's nice to know all the nominees mean something in their own genre.
Those up from SG-1 all have a good chance, I think.

:rolly2:

It's good news.

Lets just wish the three goodluck.

This might also make MGM review for a season 6;)

excuse me for being daft, but what exactly are saturn awards?

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Saturn Awards are handed out by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films.....

GO RDA, GO RDA, GO RDA.........

You are correct; this "Academy" is actually a fan organization. You pays your money and you gets to vote. This is not an industry award and this group is not affiliated with the AMPAAS (movie Academy who gives the Oscars) or the organization who gives out Emmys.

Excuse me for being daft this time, but how do fans get
to vote?

By joining the "academy" (paying membership dues) , you get to vote. They're based locally to me, but I haven't been able to find a web site or address on them.... someone probably knows it.

Actually, I accidently came across a site the other day when I was searching for Sailor Saturn on Yahoo...
