I am all for twisting sceince in the name of a story *g* but I have to commend TP's brilliance. My favourite is the L-space theory. Any others you guys can thin of?

What about all the theories on the types of light? Something in the 'Companion' I think. I'll have to look.
Yes, L-space is the best one, I think.
Knowledge = Power, and that sort of thing.
Listened to GG last night, I just love the way TP talks about it, and the way it works. Very impressive I thought.

dark is the fastest thing as it has to move out of the way of the light- right?

Correct. Hang on, this isn't the quiz. What about the dark-light stuff in 'Truth' creepy, I thought.
Have you read 'Science of Discworld'? I found it fascinating, but then I'm interested in everything.
What about, hmmm..... Do the listening monks count?
Or have I got that wrong?

listening 4 the first sound? i like that too yes i chose that as my speech day award 4 academic prize (very high exam grades) as a compromise fun/work book

Oh, that is a good compromise.
If I could use any passage for my LAMDA exam (Prose reading exams) I'd do a bit from the beginning of 'Light Fantastic' in the UU room containing the Octavo. I just love that bit for the description. (and the jokes).
