So? Do you accually want Max and Tess together? I mean is that plot more stirring than that of the young alien Max taking a human conccubine (or even elopeing in an Elivis chapel) and throwing the whole (I don't know) five alien races in the galaxy into a frenzy? Remember love is sweet and we all want to think that we have soulmates somewhere. But who? And where?

sorry, I disagree. I realize that seeing the commercial and seeing Max kissing some one with blonde hair automatically makes us all think of Tess. That was my initial reaction. But I recorded Buffy and Angel last night during which the commercial air a few times. Going back in slow motion several times (yes, I realize this signifies I have no life) my sister and I believe that it was actually Maria. Now, as always it is possible that I could be wrong, it has been known to happen, however this time I think I'm right!

does anyone have any idea what the end of the commercial is about? i mean, there's mention of an accident and a funeral, but i really don't know who for. it's obviously not isabelle, she's at the funeral. i think it might be alex since she's the one focused on. any ideas?:dead:

People have been talking about Alex dieing for a while. But now I don't get this thing people are talking about with it "not really being alex?" But speaking of Isabell, how do we know it wasn't Isabell that Max kissed? I mean that doesn't make any less sense than Maria.
I'm still hoping that Liz just got blonde highlights.

what happens in the next episodes
brody is the one who dies.
he get one of those volts of max energy and has a heart attack.
max does kiss tess because when he inadvertantly kills brody, his memory comes back of the prior life.
we will find this out in "off the menu" the next episode.

I reckon Liz will get very upset and tell Max why she slept with Kyle.
I bet Tess has had an affair though and they are not the perfect couple, and he and Liz get together and save the earth?

ok, I'm the first to admit it-I was wrong about the kiss. But I still think that Alex is the one that dies. I mean think about it, first of all it would be just like those cruel TV gods to let him finally get with Isabelle only to say 'Not so fast! No one REALLY gets to be happy!' Second, in the preview for next week the two people that seemed the most upset were Liz and Isabelle. some one mentioned that if alex dies it might not be the real alex. and even though liz broke up with max to change the future, that doesn't garuntee anything. I know that this isn't exactly classic literature here, but if you remember EVERY Greek tragedy and most of Shaekspere's every time some one is warned about their future and tries to change it, it only backfires and makes them do whatever they were warned about.

Good call on the tragedy tip. Kinda like in the Matrix when the Oracle says "What will really bake your noodle later on is, would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything." But anyhow, I hope your right about Alex having a double who lives or something. Seeing as how in It's Too Late Liz "explores the truth about the situation" and in Baby It's You Liz "investigates the double life of one of her friends" it'd make sense if that dude was Alex.
The only thing that sucks about that, is that Alex came back from Europe way more on top of stuff, way more confident and in controll - it'll suck if the real Alex still gets played all the time by Isabell.

I definitely don't KNOW anything about Alex but I say this... I think that if Alex were truly out and gone for good then they would have built his mental state up a little more and we would have seen him die. Maybe I was getting me a glass of tea or something but I didn't see anybody die. It just leaves it all in limbo in my mind. This is Roswell so anything is possible.

It could just very well turn out to be that... for followers of Lois and Clarke, there was that episode where Superman (with a very human wife! was supposed to be bethrothed to this other alien lady... in the end, he still refused to marry her. He chose to stay on Earth instead of go back to his planet, so I'm hoping Max does that!

It could just very well turn out to be that... for followers of Lois and Clarke, there was that episode where Superman (with a very human wife!
